Bedford Garden Club

 Bedford Garden Club Mission Statement

We’ve developed a solid set of programs this year working on the idea of “Sustainability.” We define sustainability as a concept of stewardship, of long-term environmental responsibility with a strong mission to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations. This is an appropriate them honoring the ladies and gentleman that have sustained the Bedford Garden Club for 85 years.

Meet at the “Historical Garden” behind Town Hall Museum

On Thursday, June 20th, The Bedford Garden Club will meet outside, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair and head towards the “Historical Garden” located behind the Town Hall Museum at 30 South Park Street for an evening on Herbs & Gardening. The meeting will start at 7:30PM.

Enjoy the Bedford Beauties!Did you know that the City Of Bedford has an official flower?

Well we do, it’s a Mum.
It was chosen some 30 years ago.
To this day the Bedford Garden Club plants mums in the Bedford Commons around the Civil War monument. We also plant them in front of Bedford City Hall. So the next time anyone asked does Bedford have an official flower, you can say yes! The mum.

In case of rain, the meeting will move inside at 124 Ellenwood Avenue (Bedford Recreation Center).

The public is invited.
