Methods of Payment Water bills can be paid several ways. There is a drive up lock box in the east parking lot of City Hall where bills can be dropped in at anytime. This box is emptied daily, this is a matter of convenience for all residents especially in inclement weather. Bills can also be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service. We also offer automatic deduction from your savings or checking accounts. This service is also done on a monthly basis. If interested, there is a form that needs to be filled out with a Water Department and a VOIDED check is also required to complete this process. General Information regarding water bills: Water bills are always due on the 15th of each month. Water meters are read and billed monthly. When you receive your billing, the "to and from" dates are indicated on your bills, this is the time period you are currently being billed for. There is a discount rate for water & sewer only if you meet the following guidelines: You must be age 65 or older or 100% totally and permanently disabled.
You must own and occupy your home.
Residents residing in rental property do not qualify for this discount. Your combined household income cannot exceed $30,094 for the tax year 2010.
