Contractor Registration Information

In order to perform work in the City of Bedford Contractors are required to furnish the following:

1) Complete and return the contractor’s registration application.

2) All plumbing, electrical and HVAC contractors shall submit a copy of their current State of Ohio Certificate.

3) Each applicant shall furnish evidence of insurance for bodily injury in the amount of $100,000/$300,000 and $100,000 for property damage.  The City of Bedford shall be listed as additional insured.

4) Complete and return the City of Bedford’s Contractor’s Bond Form in the amount of $10,000.00,  Copies will not be accepted.

Registration is for the calendar year starting January 1st or any date thereafter during the year, and expires December 31st of the same year.  The fee is fifty dollars ($50.00) a year or for any portion thereof. Renewals are thirty-five dollars ($35.00) within 60 days of termination (March 1st).

Any contractor registering by mail is required to provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Please send all registration information to:
